Pastoral Visiting Team
The Benefice of St John’s and St Laurence’s in Ludlow have a team of trained pastoral visitors, both clergy and lay people, to provide pastoral care for parishioners. We visit those who have suffered loss and bereavement. We visit those who are not currently able to come to church services due to ill health. We can visit those who are ill in hospital. We want all those in our church community to know that we care for them as we share God’s love with them.
The team offers:
- a listening ear to those who are lonely or anxious
- home communion to those who cannot leave home
- visits to local care homes including Hagley Place, Hendra House, Four Rivers, Churchill House, Alexandra House and Onny Cottage, taking church services to the residents.
If you, or your relative would like a visit from a member of the Pastoral Visiting Team, please get in touch.
